Hello! I'm Zixiao Wang, a graduate student in Computer Science at Peking University, expected to graduate in 2026. I specialize in Embodied AI, Autonomous Driving research and engineering practice.

During my master’s, I gained practical experience in VLA modeling, RL decision planning, ROS and simulation, LiDAR-based SLAM and navigation, and BEV perception for autonomous driving. I also founded the Nerdnet AI community and launched AI courses attended by over 1,000 people.

During my undergraduate, I ranked first and secured direct admission to Peking University. I also won the National First Prize in the Service Outsourcing Innovation Competition with our self-developed AI driver-assistance system.

I am passionate about hands-on practice! I'm also familiar with web dev, product design, 3D modeling and printing, circuit design and soldering, embedded programming, image and video processing, and have the ability to develop full-stack products.

  • Built closed-loop system of data replay - scenario simulation - reinforcement learning training, improved evaluation pass rate by nearly 30% in lane merging scenarios
  • Used VectorNet for feature extraction, performed other vehicle behavior prediction and ego vehicle trajectory generation

  • Developed navigation system based on 3D localization and PID control, achieving parking accuracy within ±2cm

A follow-up project built upon my LiDAR localization work at DeepGlint. The team subsequently developed this humanoid robot positioning system using FAST-LIO algorithm.

  • Designed and implemented drivers and toolchains based on CARLA simulator to automatically generate RGB, Depth, LiDAR and other data
  • Used dense prediction networks to directly predict BEV from surround-view cameras, reducing algorithm latency
  • Used real vehicle surround-view cameras + pose data, applied Kalman filtering to correct BEV viewpoint poses

A rotating claw machine with an electromagnet, innovatively solves several shortcomings of traditional claw machines. All the work was independently completed by me, including: circuit design, circuit board making, component welding, shell and mechanical design, 3D printing, embedded C language development, UI interaction, server development, etc.
